Prodigies Academy allows teachers to lock and unlock content for delivery to students. Let’s say you have an assignment you only want the students to work on in the classroom (so they can’t work on it at home) . In this case, you would unlock the assignment during the class period, and then re-lock it whenever the class period is over.

If a segment is locked, students will not be able to view it. They will receive a message saying the content is locked, and to talk to their teacher if they want to be able to view it.

If a segment is unlocked, students will be able to view it like normal.

Locking and Unlocking

To lock and unlock segments, you can use the toggle switch with the lock icon on the schedule view, right next to the switch to enable or disable a segment:

When you lock the segment, that switch will turn red in color. If the segment is unlocked, it will be gray in color.
